Why ChatGPT gives itself away.
The habitsChatGPT text is recognizable through habits, not magic detection. The usual suspects:
- Generic introductions that warm up instead of saying something ("In today's fast-paced world,").
- Corporate-ish language nobody says out loud ("leverage", "utilize", "transformative").
- Unnecessary transitions gluing every paragraph ("Moreover", "It's important to note").
- Repetitive sentence structures, the same length and rhythm line after line.
- Unnecessary adjectives inflating plain points ("truly remarkable", "incredibly powerful").
- Awkward leftovers: Markdown asterisks, eager bullet lists, sign-offs addressed to nobody.
The dictionary keeps an up-to-date list of the phrases, with what to write instead:

What GetCleanPost does not promise.
Honesty boxIt does not make AI text "undetectable", and no tool can promise that. Detectors are unreliable in both directions: they flag human writing and miss polished AI text daily. What GetCleanPost removes are the mechanical habits readers (and recruiters, and clients) actually pattern-match: the filler, the scaffolding, the template feel. If the underlying idea is generic, cleaning makes it a cleaner generic idea. The thinking is still your job.
That is also why every removal appears as a chip you can click to keep. The goal is your voice, faster — not a costume for text you never read.

FAQWill this make my text pass AI detectors?
No tool can promise that, and you should be suspicious of any that claims to. Detectors are unreliable at best. GetCleanPost removes the surface habits readers remember — filler phrases, scaffolding, template rhythm — which is the part that actually matters for a LinkedIn post.
How does it know what sounds like AI?
A hand-tuned dictionary of the phrases and constructions chatbots overuse, built from thousands of real drafts and updated as the tells evolve. Every match is shown as a chip, so the judgment call stays with you. Click a chip to keep the phrase.
Does Humanise rewrite my sentences?
It swaps the stiffest patterns for natural phrasing and varies the rhythm, but it does not rewrite from scratch. Your argument, examples and jokes survive; the template wrapping does not. For bigger surgery, edit the cleaned draft in your own voice.
Is my text uploaded to check it?
No. The dictionary and all matching run locally in your browser tab. Nothing is sent anywhere, which is also why the tool can afford to show you every single match.
